New Intergenerational Center — coming this fall to the former Andy’s Market site, a beautiful new community gathering place.
Town Park restrooms, dog park, live outdoor music, natural turf soccer fields, using integrated pest management (IPM) using no pesticides or herbicides)
Tamalpais Overdressing Pedestrian Bridge design. Caltrans says they’ll break ground in 2028.
Swim Program: For now, at Redwood High School while on the look out for a permanent year round pool partner!
Fiscal Responsibility, Economic Development to help assure continued success of our fabulous retailers.
Community gatherings, Outdoor music and dining, walkable shops and restaurants. More attention to our Old Square/Down town, especially to solve parking challenges.
Corte Madera Depot? At right is a vision for a new publicly owned coffee shop with restrooms and gathering areas.
My Priorities
Make Corte Madera a ‘Blue Zone”— create a quality of life that’s second to none, supporting health and longevity goals of our residents.

Current Projects and Priorities
Continuing work I initiated in 1994 and renewed in 2015 to create an exciting new pedestrian and bicycle overcrossing at US 101 and Tamalpais Drive. This community connector will do much to bridge our two sides of town by providing a safe and inviting pathway at this key location.
Working with master gardeners, UCSF and local volunteer leaders to create new community gardens on both sides of town. These will not only provide garden plots but will help any interested residents learn how to produce more food in their own backyards.
